Desperate Dems Lose Hispanic Votes: GOP’s Chance to Thrive in 2024!

People have known for as long as anyone can remember that Democrats have been pandering to racial groups. Democrats will do almost anything to appeal to minorities, from carrying hot sauce in their purses to awkwardly changing their speech patterns to fit the group they're talking to. But as the 2024 race gets closer, Democrats are worried that Joe Biden won't be elected even if they try to appeal to Hispanic voters.

Since the last election, Hispanic support for Democrats has been steadily decreasing, and it doesn't look like anything will change this time either. In July 2022, Mayra Flores took over a congressional seat on the border between the U.S. and Mexico that had been a stronghold for Democrats for 100 years. Another Hispanic Republican candidate, Monica De La Cruz, won her election, making her the first Republican to serve Texas's 15th Congressional District. De La Cruz says that the Hispanic society is pro-life, pro-God, and pro-country. These are the values of the Republican party, and they are exactly what the Hispanic community wants in a candidate.

The numbers seem to show that De La Cruz, who is now a congresswoman, is completely right. In 2022, 57 percent of the Hispanic vote went to Democrats. This number is down from 2020, when Joe Biden got 63 percent of the Hispanic vote. Reports say that the Republicans chose some of those people, and that 39% of them will vote for their candidates in 2022 and 35% will vote for Donald Trump in 2020. Democrats' use of Latinx slang seems to have given Republicans a chance to make great progress in this area. It turns out that the GOP has always been pushing for a lot of the things that are important to Hispanics.

So now Democrats will have to stop pandering and go out into the neighborhood and campaign? That's what the pros say! CEO of the United States Hispanic Business Council Javier Polomarez has said many times that Democrats must start talking to the Hispanic community in an honest way right away. Unfortunately, this word-of-mouth is leading to the Democrats giving handouts to the Hispanic community again, as they did before.

The problem with the Democrats is that they can't seem to come up with any real solutions to the issues of Hispanics. Grecia Lima, the political head of Community Change Action, says that if the Biden Administration wants to win the Hispanic vote, it needs to do more than play "Despicito." But her ideas are similar to what the Democrats have always done, like pushing for a trillion-dollar infrastructure bill in 2021 and spending government money on health care, social services, and green energy. She basically wants the federal government to give the Hispanic people down payments.

Democrats have done a good job of fostering a family-first mindset, which Republicans must fight. The leader of LEXIT (Latinos Exit), Jesse Holguin, talked about his upbringing in the Democrat society. Republicans will have a hard time making a link here because Democrats have built their voter base on close family ties. The problem for the Democrats is that these kinds of ideas are rarely criticized in the Hispanic community.

When Democrats try to reach out to Hispanic voters, Republicans will be sure to jump on the chance. Still, it's not clear if Republicans are doing the right thing. Now everyone is watching the Republicans and how well they reach out to Hispanics. In 2024, if Joe Biden comes out of his basement to campaign, watch out for the traveling mariachi band playing behind him. This is the ultimate Democrat trick to get the Hispanic vote.
