Update (11:00 AM ET): It looks that Twitter has reinstated the post in issue after receiving backlash on the social networking site regarding the censoring. The backlash was caused by the fact that Twitter removed a PayPal message. Once again, as of approximately midday on the East Coast on Sunday, the tweet was appearing under the feed of Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the day, we reported that Twitter had removed a tweet from the Florida Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, that discussed a new study on the COVID vaccine and stated that "the public needs to be aware of ." Twitter had taken this action for unknown reasons. He stated that "this analysis showed an increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39. FL will not be silent on the truth.” <\/p>\n
Since Ladapo tweeted it out, it hasn't even been a complete twenty-four hours yet. The tweet has been removed at this time, and in its place is a notification from Twitter that states, "This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules." In addition, the following text was provided as a backlink: "Find out more."<\/p>\n
The tweet was deleted without any explanation; nevertheless, the backlink stated that the item "may contain disputed or misleading information."<\/p>\n
On Twitter, many were seething with rage over the suppression of a government figure by a large digital company.<\/p>\n
