In August, Gaetz praised Jordan for his hard work and dedication to his conservative constituents. He also told Fox News that Jordan was the most talented member of the group.<\/p>\n
Since the Republicans will have a majority in the House when the new Congress convenes next month, Jordan has not officially announced his intention to run for the speakership.<\/p>\n
Jordan has since endorsed McCarthy for the speakership. However, he expressed his concerns about the possibility of the Republicans working with Democrats to elect a new leader.<\/p>\n
