In a stunning display of wit and boldness, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie took a shot at President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden during the second Republican primary debate. Christie cleverly pointed out their close connection to teacher unions, which has sparked quite a controversy among the left. Of course, liberal firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez couldn’t resist lashing out at Christie, calling his remarks disgusting and misogynistic. But let’s be real here, folks, she’s just upset because she can’t handle the truth.
Christie, not one to back down, stood by his words and dismissed Ocasio-Cortez as a hypocrite. He even joked that her criticism was the highlight of his day. And who can blame him? Ocasio-Cortez’s outrage is just another example of the left’s hypersensitivity and lack of a sense of humor.
During the debate, Christie passionately spoke out against the overwhelming power of teacher unions, which he claims are strangling our nation’s public school systems. And when he pointed out that the president of the United States is “sleeping with a member of the teachers’ unions,” he hit the nail on the head. The first lady, a longtime teacher and member of the National Education Association, undoubtedly has an inside track to advocate for the union’s worst teachers instead of fighting for our students’ success.

While some, including former Vice President Mike Pence, saw Christie’s comment as a joke, the left immediately went into full-blown hysteria. Newsweek reported on the immediate outrage and pushback against Christie on social media, with defenders of the first lady accusing him of being disrespectful and sexist. Give me a break! These liberals love playing the victim card whenever they can.
But Christie didn’t let the left’s temper tantrums faze him. In an interview with CNN, he proudly doubled down on his criticism of Jill Biden’s detrimental union policies. When pressed about his choice of words, Christie confidently asserted that he was telling the truth and stood by his wording. And let’s not forget his perfect response to Ocasio-Cortez’s comments, calling her a hypocrite and dismissing her as inconsequential. Bravo, Governor Christie!
The moral of the story here, folks, is that Christie isn’t afraid to speak his mind and expose the left’s dangerous agenda. While the liberals scramble to play the victim, conservatives like Christie are fighting for the future of our children and our country. So let them cry and let them tweet, because at the end of the day, the truth always wins. Keep on speaking the truth, Governor Christie!
