A young high schooler, who also happens to have autism, was viciously attacked by classmates with a swastika carved into his back. This brave soul, along with his mom, who goes by the initials S.K. and C.K., has decided to take a stand against the Clark County School District in Las Vegas.

The lawsuit claims that not only did the district fail to protect the 18-year-old from this horrifying assault, but they also dropped the ball when it came to providing him with a proper education.
The poor student came home one day with a swastika literally carved into his back – can you even imagine the horror? And to make matters worse, the district denied any knowledge of the incident.
After this traumatizing experience, the student had to be homeschooled. It’s just so unfair that his education had to be disrupted because of these bullies and the school’s negligence. The complaint also claims that the district failed to provide the student with the education he deserves under the Individuals with Disability Education Improvement Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The lawsuit is demanding that the district cover the costs for the student to attend an outside program and reimburse the family for any expenses they faced due to the attack and the lackluster education.
And get this – the attack on the student happened BEFORE the surge in antisemitic incidents following the conflict between Israel and Hamas. It’s like the school district was living in their own little bubble while the rest of the world was waking up to the rise in antisemitism.
