While Bernstein may have thought he was doing some hard-hitting investigative work, it feels more like he stumbled upon a dead bird rather than a big scoop. If he had this information for the past 18 months, why wait until now to spill the beans? It seems more like he’s trying to save face and distance himself from the cover-up rather than truly expose the truth.
It’s clear that there’s a well-coordinated effort to hide the reality of Biden’s mental decline, involving everyone from the White House to the media. Even during the debate prep, concerns about Biden’s cognitive abilities were raised, but those close to him, including the First Family, were quick to downplay the issue and keep up appearances.
Bernstein’s belated revelations only serve to highlight the sorry state of the press in this country. Instead of holding the government accountable, they seem more intent on playing a part in the cover-up and keeping the public in the dark.
