The Biden administration has struck once more, launching an attack on Christianity by banning religious-themed Easter eggs from its “Celebrating National Guard Families” art contest. This move is just another attempt by the left to erase and suppress the values and beliefs of millions of Americans.

The flyer for the contest blatantly states that all Easter egg art submissions must be devoid of “questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.” Can you believe that? The White House is trying to stifle the expression of faith by young artists. It’s an outrage!
But the restrictions don’t stop there. The flyer also prohibits promoting “bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.” What about promoting love, compassion, and the values of Christianity? Apparently, those are not worthy of inclusion in the White House art contest.
The flyer asks children to design Easter eggs based on their own lives, representing the “unique experience and stories of National Guard children.” But where is the room for celebrating the religious traditions and beliefs of these children and their families? The Biden administration seems intent on erasing any mention of Christianity from this event.
To add insult to injury, the White House expansion on the longstanding tradition of presenting Commemorative Easter Eggs to the First Lady now includes displaying youth-designed Easter eggs in the White House East Colonnade. But don’t expect to see any religious-themed eggs among the display. The message is clear: the Biden administration is whitewashing Easter of its religious significance.
In addition to this egregious ban on religious expression, Democrats have a long history of attacking Christians and exploiting Christianity for their own political gain. It’s no secret that the Democratic Party has been drifting away from religious values, with a significant drop in religious membership among its members. This trend is a clear indication of the party’s stance on public expressions of religion and the role of faith in public life.
It’s clear that the Biden White House and the Democratic Party are on a mission to erase Christianity and silence the voices of religious Americans. This latest ban on religious-themed Easter eggs is just one more example of their disdain for traditional values and religious freedom. It’s time to stand up and fight back against this attack on our faith and our traditions.
