In yet another display of his lack of accountability, President Joe Biden has doubled down on his claim that he had no knowledge of his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business entanglements in China, Ukraine, and Romania. Despite mounting evidence and a message from Hunter Biden himself, Joe Biden refuses to acknowledge the fact that he may have been involved in his son’s potentially criminal dealings. This is just another example of Joe Biden’s frequent misleading of the public without any repercussions.

During his White House speech, Biden also took the opportunity to kneecap Joe Manchin’s chances in the 2024 election. With his recent support for the Inflation Reduction Act, Manchin is fast losing favor with West Virginia voters. And Biden’s words are just the icing on the cake that will ensure Manchin’s defeat. If Manchin runs again, he will undoubtedly face an uphill battle against Jim Justice in the primaries. Justice is the heavy favorite, and all he has to do is run a clip of Biden’s speech on repeat in his ads to win by 10 points.

But perhaps the most surprising thing to come out of Biden’s speech was his glowing praise of Kamala Harris, despite her recent unpopularity as the most unpopular Vice President in the history of NBC News polling. One has to wonder if Biden is actually trying to take his own Vice President down with him. It’s a bad decision that can only add to the corruption scandals raging around the President.
Overall, Biden’s speech was a display of his delusion and chutzpah. He continues to deny any involvement in his son’s shenanigans, even though evidence suggests otherwise. He also seems to be completely out of touch with the people of West Virginia and the unpopularity of his own Vice President. It remains to be seen what other surprises Biden has in store for us in the future.
