President Joe Biden has denied that he has been requested for an interview by the special counsel in the case regarding his alleged mishandling of classified documents. Biden made it clear to reporters that he has not received any interview request from special counsel Robert Hur. This comes after reports surfaced earlier this month, stating that Biden’s attorneys were in discussions with Hur’s office about potential terms for an interview.
Republicans have been quick to criticize the handling of Trump’s case in comparison to Biden’s. Both former President Donald Trump and Biden have faced scrutiny over their alleged mishandling of classified documents. In fact, mishandling classified information is one of the four indictments that Trump has faced. Many Republicans argue that there is a double standard at play.

Biden has previously defended himself by highlighting his cooperation with authorities, contrasting it with Trump’s approach. However, the allegations of mishandling classified documents are not the only issue Biden is facing. He is also being scrutinized for his alleged involvement in some of his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings. This adds yet another layer to the challenges Biden is currently navigating as president.
