One has to wonder if anyone in the Biden cabinet has ever heard of a chain of command, let alone implemented one.
While the administration tries to juggle its many social justice initiatives, ordinary Americans are left holding the bag—actually, a soggy bag thanks to flooding. It’s a real wonder if anyone in the White House even knows where the affected areas are or if they’re too busy serving up another round of climate change rhetoric to care. The ability to prioritize such emergencies seems to elude this administration entirely, suggesting that their real focus is elsewhere, likely rolling out policies that please the progressive base rather than addressing real-world problems.
As if the disaster response wasn’t dismal enough, the question of who’s really in charge lingers. Vice President Kamala Harris has been busy promoting her “equity” initiatives, apparently believing that press conferences about social justice will somehow solve the immediate disaster need. Meanwhile, President Biden appears to be running a game of hide-and-seek, trying to figure out how to navigate the mess without losing face. If the situation didn’t seem so dire, it would almost be laughable. The real punchline here? The American people are the ones left to pick up the pieces as they await an administration that promises much but acts like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming storm.
