In response to the border crisis, US President Joe Biden was caught on camera Monday laughing off the issue. His lack of concern seemed to indicate that he would not be visiting the affected regions.
In response to a question about the border crisis, Biden said that the situation is better than expected, but he refused to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. The President then gave a short and alarming response when asked if he would visit the border.
This behavior shows how little empathy and accountability Biden has for the people who are directly affected by the crisis along the border. Since record numbers of illegal crossings and human trafficking have been reported along the border, it is clear that he has little interest in addressing the issue.
It is clear that Biden is not doing enough to address the border crisis. He needs to lead by example and take responsibility for the situation. Americans need a leader who is serious about addressing the issue.
