President Joe Biden’s thin skin was on full display during a recent press conference outside the White House, where Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy managed to ruffle the feathers of the commander in chief. Doocy hit the president with some hard-hitting questions about his potential re-election in 2024, based on recent polls that suggest he could lose to former President Donald Trump.
Biden, known for his touchiness, attempted to play it cool with a light-hearted response to Doocy’s inquiries. However, Doocy’s persistence quickly turned the president into a grumpy old man faster than you can say “Make America Great Again.”

The Fox News correspondent didn’t back down, even pushing Biden on sensitive topics such as abortion access and his dismal performance in swing-state polls compared to Trump. This seemed to strike a nerve with Biden, as he became defensive and visibly irritated, wagging his finger and scowling at Doocy, asserting that most polls favored him – a claim that does not quite add up.
It is no secret that Biden is not accustomed to facing tough questions, especially from the media, who often handle him with kid gloves. His past interactions have been carefully orchestrated, with pre-approved journalists and topics to avoid catching the president off guard. However, without this protective shield, Biden’s angry outbursts become increasingly apparent, even allegedly lashing out at his pets in fits of rage.
As the stress of his presidency takes its toll, it’s becoming clear that any criticism or challenge, especially from a familiar face like Peter Doocy, can easily trigger a meltdown from Biden. Cute and fuzzy photo-ops can only take a fragile ego so far.
