Biden Plans Supreme Court Overhaul, Pushes Term Limits Amid Backlash

Hold onto your hats, folks. President Biden, in an expected move that’s sure to trigger every red-blooded constitutionalist in America, is planning to throw his support behind significant changes to the Supreme Court. You know, that same Supreme Court which received a conservative makeover thanks to the diligent efforts of former President Donald Trump. Clearly, the liberals are still smarting from those Trump-era wins and are now gunning for a do-over.

In the next few weeks, Mr. Biden is poised to back legislation that imposes term limits on justices and enforces an ethics code. According to The Washington Post, the president might even have the audacity to push for a constitutional amendment that strips broad immunity from presidents. Because when you can’t win by the rules, just change the rules, right?

These changes come hot on the heels of the justices wrapping up their 2023-2024 term, which left liberals gnashing their teeth. President Trump scored notable victories, including fending off state attempts to boot him from the 2024 ballot and preserving some protection from criminal prosecution. It seems the left is desperate to fix what they see as the glaring “problem” of a Supreme Court that occasionally rules against their agenda.

In a not-so-surprising rally cry to his progressive pals, Biden reportedly told the Congressional Progressive Caucus that he’s gearing up for a major initiative on limiting the court. Apparently, he’s been cozying up with constitutional scholars (read: liberal academics) for the last three months and is now begging for support. Sounds like another round of executive overreach, anyone?

Predictably, the White House spokesperson has kept mum about Biden’s reported comments and plans. No comment means no scrutiny, right? Well, conservative Americans are watching, and they’re not impressed by this blatant attempt to undermine the judicial branch for political gain.
