Looks like President Joe Biden’s mask theater is back in full swing. After First Lady Jill Biden tested positive for COVID, he claimed he would be masking up and practicing social distancing indoors. But of course, his actions speak louder than his words.
At a recent medal ceremony for a Vietnam vet, Biden arrived wearing a mask, only to quickly remove it and get up close and personal with an elderly veteran. Not exactly what you would call social distancing. And to top it off, he walked through a crowd of people without a mask, as if the virus magically disappeared.
I guess Biden forgot about the major study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that showed masks are essentially useless. Plus, then-White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha admitted there is no study in the world that proves masks work that well. So why bother wearing them?
But don’t worry, the White House has an explanation. According to Press Secretary Karine-Jean Pierre, Biden will only wear a mask indoors and around people in alignment with CDC guidance, and then he will remove it when sufficiently distanced from others. But as we saw at the ceremony, he clearly disregarded his own supposed protocol.
This kind of hypocrisy is exactly why so many Americans are distrustful of health authorities. They say one thing but do another. Remember California Gov. Newsom and his fancy dinner at the “French Laundry”? It’s no wonder people are losing faith.
And let’s not forget about First Lady Jill Biden. She’s been double-vaccinated and twice boosted, yet she still managed to get COVID again. So much for the effectiveness of those vaccines.
Unfortunately, it seems that mask madness will soon be back in full force. Prepare to see people driving around alone in their cars with multiple masks on, all in the name of preventing themselves from giving themselves COVID. It’s a ridiculous sight that I definitely won’t miss.
But hey, at least GOP Senator JD Vance is taking action to ban federal mask mandates. It’s about time someone stood up against this unnecessary and ineffective tyranny. Let’s hope others follow his lead.
