During his speech at the White House Tribal Nations Summit, President Joe Biden decided to showcase his “personal charm” by imitating a child-like voice. In a bizarre moment, he recounted a story about a little girl who approached him on a plane and asked, “Mr. Pwesident, can you take care of Beaws Ears?” Now, this might seem endearing to some, but it raises questions about Biden’s professionalism and ability to address serious topics.
Let’s not forget that this is the same president who CNN’s Van Jones believes should be added to Mt. Rushmore based on his perceived accomplishments. But when we look at the actual numbers, it’s clear that Biden’s approval rating is plunging. A recent poll from CNN found that only 37% of US Adults approve of his job performance, while 63% disapprove. Even among Democrats, his once sky-high approval has dropped to 72% and 63% among self-described liberals. It seems that even his own party is losing faith in him.
So, when Van Jones suggests Biden should be on Mt. Rushmore, one has to wonder what accomplishments he’s referring to. Former Republican candidate Josh Barnett asked the same question, “What accomplishment? Specifically what?” And it seems like nobody can provide a satisfactory answer. Brent Scher humorously noted that Jones cited Biden’s work on anti-Asian hate as a reason for his greatness. Really? Is that the best they can come up with?

But the absurdity doesn’t end there. Rep. Harriet Hageman recently revealed that Biden is planning to house thousands of illegal aliens in tent cities within our national parks. Yes, you heard that right. While American citizens are struggling and our national parks are meant to be preserved and protected, Biden wants to turn them into makeshift homes for those who have entered our country illegally. It’s a blatant violation of federal statutes and a disgrace to our national heritage.
What’s even more appalling is that Biden is exempting these tent cities from any environmental review. While the administration scrutinizes efforts to prevent wildfires in national forests, it turns a blind eye to the potential destruction and degradation of our cherished natural treasures. It seems like Biden’s priorities are completely upside down.
In the end, Biden’s imitation of a child-like voice might have seemed cute to some, but it only serves to highlight his lack of seriousness and professionalism. With his approval ratings plummeting and his so-called “accomplishments” being called into question, it’s clear that his presidency is not living up to the hype. Maybe instead of adding him to Mt. Rushmore, we should be looking for a replacement come 2024.
