President Joe Biden has once again chosen to retreat and hide from his responsibilities as commander-in-chief by calling a lid before noon on Monday. While innocent Americans are being held hostage by the Iranian-backed terrorists of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Israel is under constant assault, Biden seems more interested in hosting a party at the White House with a live band. It’s truly mind-boggling how disconnected he is from the reality on the ground.
Earlier in the day, Biden had a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who rightfully refuses to negotiate with these Hamas thugs. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing for a necessary ground invasion of the Gaza Strip to protect their citizens and put an end to the relentless attacks on their soil. Yet, Biden’s solution seems to be burying his head in the sand and avoiding any meaningful action.
On top of all this, we now learn from the State Department that at least nine innocent Americans have been brutally killed by these Hamas terrorists over the weekend. The exact number of Americans being held captive is still unknown, but one thing is clear: Biden’s weakness and lack of leadership have put American lives at risk. It’s time for him to wake up and take decisive action to defend our allies and protect our citizens.
