The latest outrage from the White House involves its feeble response to the tragic murders of innocent Americans carried out by illegal immigrants. Unsurprisingly, the Biden Administration’s statements are conspicuously silent on the fact that these men were illegal aliens, a glaring omission that speaks volumes about their lax immigration policies and their impact on American communities.
Take the case of Rachel Morin, who was slain by a 23-year-old illegal immigrant, Victor Martinez-Hernandez, hailing from El Salvador. Or consider the heart-wrenching murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, carried out by two illegal immigrants who had the audacity to commit such heinous acts after being allowed into the country by Biden’s Department of Homeland Security. Notably, the White House has studiously avoided mentioning that these tragedies were a direct result of illegal immigration.

Instead, Biden’s camp has offered up their “deepest condolences” to the families, conveniently sidestepping the root issue: these illegal immigrants walked through the door that Biden’s immigration policies have left wide open. It is almost as if the Administration believes that expressing a vague sense of sorrow without addressing the cause is enough to placate grieving families and outraged citizens.
Contrast this with former President Donald Trump, who personally reached out to the victim’s families to offer his condolences, demonstrating a level of empathy and leadership that the current Administration sorely lacks. Trump’s camp did not mince words, attributing these tragic deaths to Biden’s immigration incompetence and directly accusing the president of having blood on his hands.
Republicans are not mincing words either. GOP candidate Kim George shamed Biden’s “pathetic” leadership, decrying the senseless deaths that could have been prevented with proper enforcement of immigration laws. Senator Tommy Tuberville labeled the White House’s response as “shameful,” hammering home the point that innocent lives have been lost due to the Administration’s refusal to secure the border.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer: while Trump and other Republicans acknowledge the impact of reckless immigration policies and take direct action, Biden’s team offers nothing more than empty platitudes. This Administration’s inability to even mention the “illegal” status of these criminals is a testament to its disregard for the safety of American citizens. If this isn’t a wake-up call to the consequences of open-border policies, then what is?
