Why, oh why, would the Biden administration think it’s a splendid idea to hand over more money to the world’s leading state-sponsor of terrorism? It’s absolutely beyond comprehension! But alas, here we are, with reports that the State Department is considering issuing a waiver to Iran, allowing access to a whopping $10 billion of previously frozen cash held in Iraq. Can someone please check if common sense has been completely eradicated from the halls of power in Washington?
Let’s take a moment to reflect on recent events. Just days before Iran-backed Hamas terrorists launched a deadly attack on Israel, resulting in the tragic deaths of 1,200 innocent lives, the Biden administration had already unfrozen billions of dollars for Iran. And what did Iran do? Their proxies continued their campaign of terror against Israel and U.S. troops in the Middle East, injuring scores of American servicemen. It’s almost as if pouring money into the hands of terrorists doesn’t yield positive results. Who would have thought?
STATE DEPARTMENT MULLING WAIVER TO GIVE IRAN ACCESS TO $10+ BILLION. DECISION TODAY. MORE TK.

Now, the Biden administration is contemplating extending a multibillion-dollar sanction relief to Iran, allowing Iraq to transfer frozen electricity payments into Iranian-owned bank accounts in Europe and Oman. This decision raises serious concerns about the administration’s commitment to combating terrorism. Are they not aware that Iranian-backed terrorist groups are sowing chaos throughout the Middle East? It’s almost as if they’re turning a blind eye to the suffering and bloodshed caused by these nefarious actors.
One must question the sanity of those in power. Why should Iran have access to over $10 billion when they are directly responsible for sponsoring horrific terrorist attacks against Americans and orchestrating the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust? The logical response should be to freeze all Iranian accounts and cut off every single penny flowing to their blood-stained hands. But apparently, that’s too much to ask from an administration that seems more focused on appeasement than on protecting American lives and interests.
It’s a simple equation: money fuels terrorism. When Iran is strapped for cash, their ability to support terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis diminishes. However, when funds are flowing into their coffers, terrorism naturally thrives. With more money at their disposal, Tehran can bankroll these bloodthirsty terrorists who eagerly take up the task of killing Israelis, Americans, and anyone else who dares to embrace freedom in the Middle East and beyond.
Instead of dangling billions of dollars in front of Iran, the Biden administration should be ramping up the maximum pressure campaign initiated by the previous administration. They should be cracking down on Iran’s illicit oil sales and extending sanctions on their weapons programs. But it seems that Biden is more interested in playing nice with Iran than in deterring their malign actions. This is not the way to bring peace and stability to the region.
It’s time for the Biden administration to wake up and smell the coffee (preferably strong and conservatively brewed). Providing more funds to Iran will only enable and embolden their terrorist activities. It’s high time we prioritize the safety and security of American servicemen and our allies in the region.
