Over the weekend, Townhall got a firsthand look at the disaster that President Joe Biden’s spineless border policies have unleashed on the good ol’ Rio Grande. Sure, the president and his pals may be avoiding the CRISIS word like it’s a hot potato, but let’s be real here, folks. With just a quick stroll along the Rio Grande, it’s as clear as day why December set ANOTHER all-time record for the number of illegal immigrants caught by border agents.

Townhall’s VIP tour was courtesy of National Border Patrol Council Vice President Chris Cabrera, and it was like a real-life episode of “Border Agents: The Untold Story.” We’re talkin’ nearly two dozen illegal immigrants, including four unaccompanied kiddos, waltzing right up to the border agents and asking for asylum like it’s the checkout line at the grocery store. And you know what’s wild? ALL 22 of them are gonna get processed and released with a court date that’s as reliable as that contractor who promises to fix your leaky faucet “sometime between tomorrow and the next ice age.”
But that’s not even the half of it. We’re talking homemade ladders strewn about like a lazy teenager’s dirty laundry. Wood ones, flimsy rebar ones, you name it. And guess what? These ladders are the VIP pass for the illegal immigrant circus to bypass the border wall and make a run for it. And thanks to Biden’s “come on in, the water’s fine” policies, these folks are treating the border like it’s Black Friday at a department store, pushing and shoving their way in for a sweet deal.
But wait, it gets even more ridiculous. Over in Mission, Texas, there’s a “Junk Yard Bar” — yeah, you heard that right. And get this: it’s in a spot where there’s a H-U-G-E gap in the border wall. Thanks, Biden! This hole was supposed to be a temporary thing for construction purposes, but then Biden hit the “pause” button on building the wall, so it’s now a hangout spot for illegal immigrants. It’s like a real-life game of “The floor is lava” but with ICE agents instead.
If that wasn’t enough, there’s more private property where sneaky little rule-breakers are finding secret routes to avoid getting caught by our hardworking U.S. officials. They’re basically treating it like a game of hide and seek, but with way higher stakes. And even though Townhall wanted to check out the Central Processing Center for illegal immigrants in McAllen, the Biden team was like, “Nope, you can’t sit with us.” Looks like they’re a bit camera shy about showing off their handiwork, can’t say we blame them. Can’t have pesky reporters ruining the “everything is A-OK” narrative, right?
But hold onto your seats, folks, ’cause it doesn’t stop there. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul from Texas spilled the beans to Townhall about the national security risk caused by this border circus. And to top it all off, at the McAllen International Airport, illegal immigrants were getting the VIP treatment, breezing through TSA Pre-Check like they’re entitled to it. Some were even hopping on flights to Boston, New York, and D.C. Talk about rolling out the red carpet for lawbreakers.
