Joe Biden’s tenure has become a parade of confusion and incompetence that would make King Arthur weep—if he were in charge of something as important as the nation, that is.
For nearly four years, the nation has been led by a man who lacks the capability to govern effectively. Joe Biden came into office with questionable abilities and has only deteriorated further since then. His vice president, Kamala Harris, has proven to be equally uninspiring. Her tenure has been marked by a series of blunders that would make even a novice politician cringe. Meanwhile, the cast of characters surrounding them—ranging from a press secretary who throws juvenile tantrums to a defense secretary who seems to prioritize personal health over duty—only adds to the chaos.

As a second hurricane bears down on Florida, the nation cannot help but wonder about the whereabouts of their supposed leaders. Instead of providing critical guidance or displaying empathy for those suffering from disasters, Biden seems content to lounge away on a beach somewhere, leaving the management of tragedies to others. This is not merely a lapse in judgment; it highlights the stark leadership vacuum that has plagued this administration from the start.
Optics, contrary to what some may believe, absolutely matter in leadership. A president should be the face of the nation, setting the tone during crises and rallying the country together. Instead, Biden’s administration seems too blind to even grasp the importance of appearances, allowing the awkwardness surrounding their responses to natural disasters to fester. With Biden at the helm, there seems to be no cohesive strategy, no directive given, just a series of floundering reactions without any sense of urgency.
As election day looms ever closer, Americans face a pivotal choice. With Kamala Harris, the current administration’s performance speaks for itself: a cacophony of errors, missed opportunities, and utter confusion. Alternatively, Donald Trump represents a stark contrast, albeit a polarizing one. Regardless of personal opinions, it is clear that the lack of leadership currently on display cannot continue. For the sake of the nation, it is crucial to select someone who possesses the basic competence and self-awareness required for the job—qualities that are sorely lacking in the status quo.
