The White House is once again trying to find the right words to show their "concern" about a military coup in Central Africa. Every time something bad happens in the world, it seems like the Biden government is quick to point fingers and say meaningless platitudes. In this case, Ali Bongo Ondimba, the president of Gabon, was removed from office and put under house arrest after winning an election that the Biden administration said had "irregularities."

Now, let's tell the truth. Central Africa isn't exactly a freedom stronghold. It is known for being crooked, unstable, and full of power grabs. So, it's not surprising that the military took things into their own hands and announced a junta on state television. They said that Bongo was crooked, stole money, and ran the government badly, all of which are probably true.

But of course, the Biden government is upset about this "unconstitutional transfer of power." They say they are "deeply concerned" and are against any military seizures or transfers that go against the Constitution. Isn't it funny? The same government that is using the legal system to go after political opponents is all of a sudden a friend of constitutional order.
And let's not forget how funny it was that the Biden administration admitted that there was "lack of transparency and reports of irregularities" during the election. It's almost like they're blaming another country for their own problems. Do you recognize it?
John Kirby, who works at the Pentagon, says that the U.S. will continue to back "democracy" all over Africa. Well, that's great, but it seems like there isn't much freedom in Africa. We should be doing everything we can to help bring stability and strong leadership to an area that needs it very much.
It's time for the Biden government to stop putting on a show and deal with the real problems. Instead of showing off about democracy, they should look at their own mistakes and do something about the problems in our own country. But that would force the Biden administration to take some responsibility, and we all know how good they are at that.
