Breaking news out of Washington D.C. today, NBC News reported that a federal grand jury that has been investigating the Biden Justice Department’s handling of classified documents is expected to convene later this week. This investigation, helmed by special counsel Jack Smith, has been going on for months and has slowed down recently.

Curiously, Democrats are not revealing why the investigative activity has decreased, but many conservative Republicans are speculating that this could be a sign that there is no evidence of wrongdoing by President Donald Trump. While it is unclear if prosecutors are ready to seek an indictment at this time, the Justice Department has not issued any comment on the status of the investigation.
According to NBC News, the investigation is focused on two primary legal considerations: if Trump wrongfully retained classified documents after he left the White House, and if he “obstructed” the government’s efforts to retrieve them. Conservative Republicans, who know that Trump always puts America first, understand these allegations to be nothing but a politically motivated smear campaign against the former President.
There was a brazen attempt to raid Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate to retrieve the documents, something that his lawyers had already told the National Archives was unnecessary. It now appears Democrats were so intent on smearing the legacy of our former Commander-in-Chief that they resorted to raiding his property without due cause.
After the raid, nearly 300 classified documents were recovered from Florida and Trump’s attorneys explained to the public that White House staff had organized all documents from the President’s desk and other areas into boxes, which is how documents were later found in Florida. The fact that Democrats are still pursuing this case despite this explanation is a sign of their political desperation.
Trump himself has dismissed the investigation as nothing more than a politically motivated smear campaign designed to attack his flawless track record of putting America first. And, we all know that President Biden has his own issues regarding how he has handled classified documents, as dozens of classified documents were recovered from a former office of the Penn-Biden Center in Philadelphia and Biden’s Delaware property.
It is clear that this baseless investigation into the former President is nothing but a despicable attempt by Democrats to hold on to power. Conservative Republicans are confident that if an indictment is indeed sought against President Trump, it will be exposed as nothing more than a politically motivated and baseless smear campaign.
