In a surprising move, Jacky Rosen, a Democratic Senator from Nevada, decided to get in touch with Joe Biden in order to win over her voters. Despite his poor approval ratings, she said she would happily campaign with him.
According to a report by Fox News, Rosen has been very vocal about the various policies that were implemented by the administration during its first two years.
In both Nevada and nationally, Joe Biden's approval ratings have been relatively low. According to a Fox News poll conducted in December, only 42% of the respondents approve of his performance as a politician, while 58% disapprove of it. In Nevada, his disapproval rating has consistently exceeded his approval rating, which could challenge the efforts of Rosen.
After narrowly defeating Dean Heller in the midterm elections in 2018, Rosen is expected to face off against a Republican candidate in the upcoming election. Some of the prominent individuals who are in the race include Sam Brown, a former Afghanistan War veteran, and several others. The winner of the race will be able to control the Senate.
Despite the negative effects of her close ties to Biden, Rosen is undeterred and believes that she can still win the election. She said that she will continue to run on her achievements and the policies that were implemented by her predecessor. However, the National Committee of the Republican Senatorial Party believes that her support for the policies of the Biden administration is an issue that will be held accountable.
