White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is at it again, trying to spin the skyrocketing gas prices as a win for President Joe Biden. Who does she think she’s fooling? Jean-Pierre took to Twitter to pat herself and the Biden administration on the back, claiming that the decrease from the peak after Putin’s war is a victory for Americans. Yeah, right.

Despite the slight dip in gas prices, the national average is still a whopping $3.12 per gallon, a far cry from the pre-Biden days. And let’s not forget that the highest average price per gallon ever recorded came during the Biden administration, at a staggering $5.02. Coincidence? We think not.
Sure, there’s been a measly 6-cent decrease in gas prices recently, but that’s hardly something to celebrate. We’re still paying through the nose every time we fill up our tanks, and it’s hurting hardworking Americans where it counts – their wallets.
And don’t get us started on the top five most expensive states for gas prices. Hawaii, California, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon are all feeling the pinch, with prices well above the national average. It’s clear that Biden’s policies are hitting Americans where it hurts the most – at the pump.
Jean-Pierre can tweet all she wants, but the reality is that Americans are still feeling the pain of Biden’s disastrous energy policies. As long as she and the Biden administration continue to ignore the true impact of these policies on everyday Americans, they can’t claim any sort of victory.
