The Biden administration is drawing criticism once again, this time for their handling of questions regarding the president’s age and health. A recent poll indicated that a majority of Americans, including a surprising number of Democrats, think Biden is too old for a second term. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was pressed on this issue during a briefing, but her response left much to be desired.

Jean-Pierre deflected the question by urging people to “watch” Biden if they have any doubts about his capabilities. This vague answer does nothing to address the concerns that many Americans have about the president’s mental acuity. It’s clear that the American people have been watching Biden, which is why they are alarmed by his incoherence and confusion. Rather than providing reassurance, the White House is only adding to the uncertainty.

The press also questioned Jean-Pierre about a recent sighting of Biden entering the Oval Office with his personal physician. When asked if there was a health concern, Jean-Pierre claimed she was unaware of the situation. This evasive response raises even more questions about Biden’s health. If it was a routine check-up, why wouldn’t Jean-Pierre be aware of it? The lack of transparency surrounding this issue only fuels speculation and leaves Americans wondering if there’s something more serious going on.
It’s concerning that the White House is not addressing these legitimate questions head-on. Americans deserve transparency and clarity when it comes to the health and fitness of their president. The longer the administration avoids providing answers, the more skeptical the public becomes. It’s time for the Biden team to address these concerns openly and honestly. The American people deserve nothing less.
