It seems like the Bidens are having a bit of a holiday dilemma at the White House this year. The Christmas decorations are up, and there’s one noticeable feature that’s missing – stockings for the grandkids. In the past, six stockings have hung on the fireplace mantle, representing the six grandchildren that the couple publicly acknowledged. However, the seventh grandchild, the daughter of Hunter Biden, has been ignored for the past two years.
If that wasn’t fishy enough, in July, the Bidens were forced to acknowledge the existence of Hunter’s daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, after denying her for years. It apparently took some embarrassing public arguments from Hunter during his battle over child support for the girl to finally break the dam. After more than three years of pretending that Navy Joan Roberts didn’t exist, the Bidens were forced to come clean about her.

It’s quite the scandal, and it seems like the Bidens have decided to make a strategic move to avoid any further controversy. Instead of celebrating Christmas at the White House this year, they’re heading to Camp David, and their family stockings will be there. It’s no secret that this decision comes on the heels of the controversy surrounding Navy Joan Roberts and the missing stocking. And let’s be real, it’s a bit of a cowardly move to avoid the inevitable questions about why there won’t be a stocking for the seventh grandchild.
The Bidens’ behavior is truly disappointing. It’s cruel to publicly deny the kinship of a young girl simply because it’s politically inconvenient. And now, by skipping town to avoid the issue altogether, they’re only making matters worse. If they truly cared about the girl and their reputation as decent human beings, they would acknowledge her as their own blood by hanging her stocking. But it seems like they’re more concerned with saving face than doing the right thing.
It’s clear that the Bidens are trying to sweep this under the rug, but their actions speak louder than words. The perception is unavoidable, and it’s a shame that they can’t show more maturity, respect, and class in this situation. It’s disappointing that they can’t muster up the decency to acknowledge the truth and include Navy Joan Roberts in the holiday tradition.
