President Joe Biden, the self-proclaimed president of vacations, is once again making headlines with his apparent homeless status. According to the Associated Press, Biden, who rarely graces the press with his presence, took it upon himself to inform reporters that he has “no home to go to.” The president, who seems to have a habit of leaving the White House at any given opportunity, claims that his Secret Service is merely working on making his home more secure. Ah yes, because security upgrades are always a top priority when you’re homeless, right?

But let’s dissect Biden’s claim a little further. When asked if he was truly homeless, Biden quickly backtracked and clarified, “no, I’m not homeless. I just have one home. I have a beautiful home.” Well, isn’t he lucky? Having just one home while the rest of us peasants can barely afford a tiny apartment. It must be nice to be so out of touch with reality.

Of course, the liberal media is quick to defend their beloved president. Just like CNN before them, the AP wants us to believe that the criticism of Biden’s constant vacationing comes exclusively from Republicans. They conveniently mention the president’s previous trips to Nevada and Lake Tahoe, conveniently ignoring his absence during the devastating Maui wildfires. I guess the plight of American citizens and the destruction of their homes pales in comparison to Biden’s need for a little R&R.
Speaking of absenteeism, let’s not forget about the president’s remarkable ability to overlook the needs of American communities. Apparently, East Palestine, Ohio, hasn’t been on his radar since a train derailment shook the town over six months ago. Despite promises to address the situation, Biden has yet to show up and lend a helping hand. But hey, who needs a president’s support when you can just bask in the glory of his absence, right?
And when questioned about his lack of action in East Palestine, Biden’s response was nothing short of baffling. He claimed to be considering a visit but was ultimately reminded of his worldly responsibilities, including a trip to India and Vietnam. Because, you know, the president’s vacation schedule takes precedence over addressing the needs of American citizens. How comforting!
It’s clear that Biden has a penchant for spending his weekends away from the White House, citing discomfort as the reason. Maybe if he actually spent some time there, he would realize that it’s his job to provide comfort and security to the American people, not the other way around. But alas, it seems that Biden’s priorities lie in his beachside retreats rather than fulfilling his duties as president.
As the rest of the country struggles with real issues and longs for leadership, Biden continues to bask in the luxury of Rehoboth Beach. It’s no wonder that people are taking notice of his absence from places like East Palestine, while he spends his time frolicking in the sand. It’s about time we had a president who actually prioritizes the American people over his own leisurely pursuits. But until then, it seems we’ll be stuck with the vacationer-in-chief. God help us all.
