President Biden’s policies regarding Israel and its defense against threats from Hamas and Hezb’allah have come under scrutiny in recent times. There seems to be a lack of consistent support towards Israel in its efforts to combat these militant groups. While the administration has shown willingness to provide weapons to Israel, there are concerns about the types of munitions being withheld which could be crucial in ensuring Israel’s security.
The focus on Gaza might be leaving Israel susceptible to the more significant threat posed by Hezb’allah in Lebanon. Unlike the missile attacks from Iran and Gaza, Hezb’allah has a much larger arsenal of rockets that could potentially cause devastating damage to Israel. The existing missile defense systems in place may not be sufficient to counter the volume and range of missiles that Hezb’allah possesses.
