President Biden unveiled his latest master plan to dismantle the country’s borders and weaken its sovereignty. The administration, taking its cues from leftist fantasies, announced that it will usher in so-called “reforms” to ease the legalization process for DACA recipients and half a million illegal immigrants conveniently tied to US citizens through marriage.
These reforms are delightfully aimed at those who conveniently evaded the legal immigration route and now will be given a free pass, making a mockery of those who respect the rule of law. Now, thanks to these reforms, everyone who’s been ignoring immigration laws will be rewarded for their patience and resilience. After all, why should hardworking Americans and legal immigrants have exclusivity in their own country?

One of these brilliant reforms promises to cut the red tape for DACA recipients, effectively putting them on a fast track to citizenship. Someone should give them an award for persistence, dodging the lawful system for years. It’s astonishing how the administration can make it easier for people living here illegally to stay, while law-abiding immigrants endure endless bureaucracy.
The second glorious reform targets half a million illegal immigrants married to US citizens. Of course, marriage is now the magical loophole for staying in the country. Half a million Americans decided love knows no borders—or laws, for that matter. The Biden administration is rolling out the red carpet, making it simpler to transform a politically convenient marriage into a golden ticket to permanent residency.
This move, unsurprisingly, is stirring the approval of Biden’s far-left base while thumbing its nose at Americans who play by the rules. It’s a classic play from the leftist handbook: redefine legality to fit political motives. America watched as another administration more interested in expanding its voter base than upholding the law made its move.
