The Biden White House has come under fire from patriotic Americans after violating the US Flag Code during its recent LGBT Pride Month celebration. This was the largest Pride celebration in the history of the White House, with extravagant performances and a colorful balloon arch in the background. However, the showstopper of the event came in the form of the Pride Progress flag, which was situated between two national flags of the United States, in clear violation of the US Flag Code.
Tom Fitton, the President of Judicial Watch, took to Twitter to voice his anger, stating that “to advance revolutionary transgender agenda targeting children, Biden violates a basic tenet of US Flag Code and disrespects every American service member buried under its colors.” The code clearly states that the American flag should be at the center and highest point of the group when other flags are displayed. Despite this, the Pride flag was placed in a dominant position, defacing the American flag.
Conservative commentator, Benny Johnson, also took to Twitter, saying that “the enemy is inside the castle walls.” Johnson highlighted Biden’s incompetence and insistence on putting his social agenda ahead of patriotism in this blatant display of disrespect for the American flag. Kansas Senator Roger Marshall also criticized the display, calling it “a disgrace” and an example of the White House’s incompetence and social agenda taking precedent over patriotism.

It is important to note that the US Flag Code does not prescribe any penalties or enforcement mechanisms for those who fail to follow the code. However, the code functions as a guide that should be voluntarily followed by civilians and groups. Defenders of the flag say that the American flag should always be at the top of the White House.
