The Biden White House finally decided to chime in on the dramatic shake-up in Washington, D.C. and boy, did they have a lot to say! White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wasted no time in bashing House Republicans for their “shambolic behavior” surrounding the ousting of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. But of course, she conveniently dodged any real discussion about the monumental change that has left the House in turmoil.
Jean-Pierre was practically tap-dancing around the issue when asked for further details, insisting that it’s not the White House’s place to meddle in the House’s affairs. Yeah right, like they haven’t been meddling in everything else. But let’s give credit where credit’s due, at least she acknowledged that Republicans have the majority in the House. A rare moment of truthfulness from a member of the Biden administration.
The White House is desperately trying to paint Biden as the bipartisan hero, claiming that “every American” is sick and tired of the infighting in the House. Well, newsflash, Karine, the American people are actually sick and tired of the Biden administration’s own incompetence and radical agenda. But I guess that’s a topic they don’t want to touch with a ten-foot pole.
And speaking of dodging questions, President Biden himself conveniently sidestepped the reporter’s inquiry about the next House Speaker. Is it really above his pay grade, or is he just too scared to answer? Either way, it’s clear that Biden wants nothing to do with this whole mess. Can’t say I blame him, it’s not like he’s been doing a stellar job himself.
Jean-Pierre continued her tirade against House Republicans, accusing them of creating chaos and standing apart from any other conference before. You know what, Karine? Maybe they’re just tired of the establishment and the status quo. Maybe they’re actually trying to shake things up and fight for the American people. But of course, the Biden White House sees anyone who challenges their agenda as a threat and will do whatever it takes to undermine them.

So, McCarthy was ousted through a roll-call vote led by Rep. Matt Gaetz, with a handful of other courageous Republicans joining the cause.
