In a stunning act of hypocrisy, the Biden White House is implementing new rules in the White House Briefing Room that limit media access and could remove journalists they don’t like. This comes after years of the media and the Democratic Party falsely accusing the GOP of being fascist. The lefty talking heads who spewed this nonsense are no more an expert on fascism than you, the reader.

The new rules will result in The Daily Signal’s chief news correspondent, Fred Lucas, losing his White House press credentials at the end of the month. Lucas has had a hard pass since 2009 and has been able to attend press briefings and access the White House campus for the past 14 years. However, under the new rules, only friendly faces will be allowed in the briefing room.

The Biden White House claims that these new rules are intended to enhance security, but that’s just malarkey. The real reason is to silence journalists who are critical of the administration and control the narrative. It’s a clear infringement on the freedom of the press and sets a dangerous precedent.
Imagine the outrage if this had happened during the Trump presidency. The media and the Democrats would be up in arms, screaming about how Trump was a fascist dictator. But when Biden does it, they’re strangely silent. It’s the height of hypocrisy.
The Biden administration should be ashamed of themselves for attempting to limit media access and control the press. It’s a blatant abuse of power and goes against the principles of a free and independent press. The mainstream media needs to stand up against this attack on their colleagues and push back against the Biden White House. Our democracy depends on it.
