BLM’s $10M Lawsuit Tossed: Irony Thrives in Controversial Cash Chaos

Well, well, well, it looks like justice has finally prevailed in California! A judge with some common sense has thrown out a frivolous $10 million lawsuit against the leader of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLM). It’s about time!

You see, the founder of BLM Grassroots, Melina Abdullah, thought she could get away with accusing the leader, Shalomyah Bowers, of stealing over $10 million from the nonprofit. But luckily, Judge Stephanie Bowick saw right through her nonsense and ruled in favor of the BLM Global Network Foundation.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the irony here. Abdullah’s own group, BLM Grassroots, has raised over $90 million since May 2020. And yet, she had the audacity to claim that her group was entitled to even more money from the BLM Global Network Foundation. Talk about greed!

But hold on, it gets even better. Abdullah also accused Bowers of enriching himself by billing his consulting company for millions. Well, Bowers’ lawyers weren’t having any of it. They called the lawsuit “frivolous” and stated that Abdullah was simply carrying out a personal attack against Bowers. Good for them for standing up against this witch hunt!

Now, here’s where things really start to unravel for BLM Inc. According to federal filings, they received a whopping $90 million in donations over the last three years. That’s a whole lot of cash flowing in. But guess what? They still managed to record a loss of $9 million in 2022. Where did all that money go, BLM?

And let’s not forget about the shady finances and spending habits of Black Lives Matter Inc. Co-founder Patrisse Cullors, who conveniently stepped down from the organization after reports of a real estate scandal emerged. Turns out she spent a cool $3.2 million on luxury homes. Talk about living the high life!

But it doesn’t stop there. Reports have also surfaced of BLM leadership using company funds for their personal luxuries. I guess they forgot that donations were meant to support the movement, not line their own pockets.

Oh, and let’s not overlook the fact that two Boston BLM leaders were charged in an 18-count federal indictment. Defrauding donors, illegally collecting pandemic unemployment benefits, and lying on a mortgage application? These so-called leaders really know how to set a good example, don’t they?

But fear not, dear readers. This lawsuit being thrown out is a step in the right direction. It’s time to hold BLM accountable for their questionable actions and murky financial practices. Justice has been served, and it’s about time someone had the guts to stand up against the hypocrisy of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Editorial Opinion: It’s clear that organizations like the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation are more interested in enriching themselves than actually making a positive impact. It’s about time people see through their facade and stand up against their greed and corruption. We need leaders who truly care about the well-being of their communities, not individuals who see activism as an opportunity for personal gain. It’s time for a change.
