In yet another example of the left’s attempts to discredit conservative politicians, Rep. Lauren Boebert is now facing accusations of assaulting her ex-husband. However, Boebert has vehemently denied these allegations, stating that she did not punch her former husband and that no one was arrested. This is just another sad attempt by her critics to tarnish her reputation and hinder her political career.

According to reports, the incident began when Boebert went to pick up one of her sons from her ex-husband’s house. As she and her son were preparing to leave, her ex-husband approached her and attempted to hug her. Boebert, wanting to maintain her personal space, put out a hand to keep him at a distance and then left the property. It’s clear that Boebert was simply trying to maintain boundaries and avoid any potential confrontation.
Later, her ex-husband called her to apologize and suggested meeting in person to discuss the situation. The two agreed to meet at a restaurant called Miner’s Claim, but it’s unclear what exactly transpired there. According to Boebert’s aide, her ex-husband became lewd and aggressive, making inappropriate gestures and attempting to grab her. Boebert, wanting to protect herself, put her hand up to his face and nose to keep him away.
Police in the town of Silt, where the incident took place, are currently investigating the matter to determine if any crime was committed. Boebert has expressed her intention to consult with her lawyer regarding the false claims made against her. All evidence will be assessed, including video footage from inside the restaurant, before any conclusion is reached.
It’s worth noting that Boebert’s ex-husband has indicated that he does not wish to press charges against her and wants to work through their issues. This shows that there may be a more nuanced story behind these allegations and further demonstrates that the left’s attempts to paint Boebert as a violent aggressor are unfounded.
It’s unfortunate that even personal issues and divorce are being used against Boebert, who recently announced she will not seek reelection in her current district. She has chosen to run for a different district in Colorado, and this decision has seemingly sparked a series of attacks aimed at damaging her reputation. Despite these attempts to undermine her, Boebert remains a strong and vocal advocate for conservative values and will undoubtedly continue to fight for what she believes in.
