The Cartoon Network has once again pushed gender ideology on innocent and vulnerable toddlers, causing a justifiable outcry from parents and conservative pundits alike. The latest episode of “We Baby Bears” named “Polly’s New Crew” aired during Pride month, which glorifies a cat-like butch character called Winnifred, who goes around dancing around a pole and self-identifying as “she/her.”
The episode also introduces a bizarre new character called “Box,” who uses they/them pronouns and apparently makes a good quiche. The character is presented as a mere box with no discernible features, heightening concerns that Cartoon Network is pushing the divisive and nonsensical idea of non-binary identities on young viewers.
The parrot captain, Polly, adds that she too uses they/them pronouns, doubling down on Cartoon Network’s reckless promotion of non-binary language, which is sure to cause confusion and chaos among little kids. The fact that a discussion about pronoun usage was the central part of the episode has outraged parents, who argue that this kind of content is inappropriate for kids.
Cartoon Network defends their decision to include non-binary characters, stating that the move is necessary to reflect the realities of their production crew, some of whom identify as non-binary. They claim to value representation and are committed to casting LGBTQ talent, including Alok Vaid-Menon and Dominique Jackson, in their shows.
Despite this, parents have taken to social media to vent their anger and frustration, with many arguing that Cartoon Network is attempting to indoctrinate children with their woke ideology. Some have even proposed drastic measures, such as getting children out of public schools, turning off the TV, limiting social media usage, and taking them to church for spiritual guidance.
It is clear that Cartoon Network has crossed a line by forcing non-binary language and gender ideology on innocent children. Parents must remain vigilant and take action to protect their kids from this dangerous and divisive propaganda.
