The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its leader, President Xi Jinping, are at it again, posing a growing threat to the United States. This time, their brazen attempts at military espionage are in the spotlight. According to The Wall Street Journal, Chinese nationals, some masquerading as innocent tourists, have been able to access U.S. military bases and other sensitive sites as many as 100 times in recent years. It’s like a game of hide-and-seek, except the consequences are far more serious.
This news should send shockwaves through the Biden administration, but will they actually do anything about it? That remains to be seen. Members of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party are demanding answers, rightfully so. They want to know how these Chinese nationals were able to infiltrate our military installations and what is being done to secure them. The safety and security of our country should be a top priority, but with the Biden administration, who knows?
It’s not just military sites that are at risk. The Select CCP Committee revealed that there are also ongoing efforts to collect intelligence on the White House itself. Yes, you heard that right. The CCP is interested in everything from the layout of the White House to its security and communication systems. Perhaps they’re trying to find the best way to infiltrate and undermine our democracy. This is not a game, folks. This is a serious threat that needs to be addressed immediately.
The Biden administration has been plagued by acts of espionage courtesy of the Chinese, from spy balloons traversing the country to hacking our own officials. It’s a never-ending battle that we seem to be losing. That’s why the House Select Committee is demanding a classified briefing from the FBI and the Department of Defense (DoD). They want to know what measures are being taken to protect our sensitive sites, identify these spies, and put an end to this CCP espionage once and for all.
Frankly, it’s about time someone stepped up to the plate and held the Biden administration accountable for their lackadaisical approach to national security. We need action, not empty promises. The American people deserve to know that their country and its secrets are being protected from foreign adversaries. Let’s hope the FBI and DoD take this request seriously and provide the committee with the answers they seek. The safety of our nation depends on it.
