James Clapper, the former head of the National Intelligence Agency, said that he has no regrets about the letter sent by former Vice President Joe Biden to Barack Obama. Despite the lack of evidence indicating that Russia was involved in the hacking of the letter, it had a major impact on the presidential election.
During an interview with CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said that he still believed it was important to issue a warning to the Russians about their actions during the 2016 presidential election. He noted that he believed it was necessary to sign the letter because he saw how they tried to influence the election.
JUST IN: James Clapper just disgracefully said he has “no regrets” for signing the 51-intel officials letter that falsely claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.
This man is a disgrace. He should be ashamed of himself. https://t.co/6lxW5pcfdM

Even though Collins acknowledged that there was no proof supporting the claim, Clapper noted that it was still a valid concern. The laptop was labeled by some as Russian disinformation after the letter was circulated. It contained emails that detailed the activities of the Biden family.
Due to the threat of Russian influence, both Twitter and Facebook were informed about a story that would come out during the 2020 presidential election. The latter removed the story from both platforms. Many news outlets also decided not to cover it, as it was proof of the Russians' influence.
Mike Morrell, a former CIA official, revealed that the Biden campaign had pressured him to help with the letter labeling the former vice president's son's laptop as a Russian disinformation device. The campaign official who approached him was identified as Anthony Blinken, the current Secretary of State.
According to a survey conducted by TIPP Insights, 79% of Americans believe that having access to the truth about the Hunter Biden laptop could have made a difference in the presidential election. It is clear that the major tech companies and the mainstream media censored the information that could have affected the results of the election. It's time for Americans to wake up and demand more fairness and honest reporting.
