Colossal Trump Statue Set for Historic Unveiling at Second Inauguration

A monumental bronze statue of President-elect Donald Trump is currently taking shape in a Pennsylvania workshop, and it’s poised to become a must-see centerpiece for his upcoming second inauguration. Rising two stories high, the statue depicts Trump in a characteristic defiant stance that fans associate with his unmistakable strength and resilience, on and off the political stage. A fitting tribute for a man who has navigated the tumultuous waters of American politics, this statue is sure to remind everyone of the tenacity he embodies.

The project is privately funded by enthusiastic donors who want to honor Trump’s relentless spirit, especially in light of the attempted assassination during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July. This incident has resonated deeply with his supporters, transforming into a rallying cry and fueling the inspiration for this colossal work of art. The statue is the brainchild of sculptor Alan Cottrill, who has earned a reputation for his stunning depictions, including a noteworthy one of Thomas Edison.

The statue isn’t just a local endeavor but also reflects Trump’s favorable views on cryptocurrency, which has garnered significant backing from the $PATRIOT project. Cottrill, who has created over 400 life-sized or larger bronze statues across the nation, described this current undertaking as his most ambitious yet. Those involved in the project are evidently aiming for nothing short of spectacular; any Trump statue simply must be larger than life and unapologetically grand, embodying the essence of the man himself.

As the finished product inches closer to completion, preparations for its unveiling are underway. Discussions are occurring between project coordinators and members of the Inaugural Committee about debuting the statue at the inauguration. After its grand reveal, the statue will embark on a year-long national tour, transported by an 18-wheeler outfitted with a crane. Once the tour concludes, plans are set in motion for its eventual home—either in Butler, where the assassination attempt occurred, or at the future Trump Presidential Library.

In addition to the behemoth statue, Cottrill is also crafting a line of smaller bronze versions of Trump, standing at 18 inches tall. Priced at around $3,000 each, these “Patriot Awards” will celebrate significant contributors to the Make America Great Again movement. This entire project, from the massive statue to the smaller commemorative awards, aims to ensure that this remarkable chapter in American history is not only remembered but celebrated.
