Dems’ Plan to Axe Trump from CO Ballot Doomed to Fail, Insider Says

The Colorado Democrats went and did it again, trying to keep former President Donald Trump off the state’s ballot, and it looks like they may have made a huge mistake, according to one former White House lawyer, Ty Cobb.

Cobb, who represented Trump during that whole Russia mess with Robert Mueller, told CNN that the U.S. Supreme Court will most likely slap down the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to keep Trump off the ballot if the case is appealed to them. Cobb even predicted it could be a unanimous 9-0 decision in Trump’s favor.

But wait, it gets even worse for them. Cobb also argued that the ruling “vindicates” Trump’s claim that it’s all a conspiracy against him and that people shouldn’t tolerate that kind of nonsense in America.

Now, this whole mess started when the Colorado Supreme Court ruled 4-3 to keep Trump off the ballot because of his alleged role in the January 6th attack. But there’s a big problem with that. Chief Justice John Roberts previously stated that the president isn’t considered an “officer of the United States” for the purposes of the 14th Amendment. In other words, the Colorado Supreme Court is playing politics instead of sticking to the law. Sound familiar?

The Colorado GOP is planning to take this fight to the Supreme Court, and according to The Hill, the Trump campaign is right there with them. Cobb is confident that the high court will move quickly on this and won’t hesitate to set things right. The liberals can try to keep us down, but we’re not going anywhere.
