Dems Wake Up to Border Crisis as NatSec Budget Stalls!

The Senate Majority Leader, Charles E. Schumer, admitted that there are some serious issues with the nation’s immigration policies. He acknowledged the record number of illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border, with more than 11,000 happening daily. Finally, some Democrats are coming to terms with the fact that there’s a crisis at the border.

The talks between Republicans and Democrats are getting intense, especially when it comes to addressing the border policies. Both sides seem to be making progress, but it’s still touch and go. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is also pushing for a resolution on the southern border so they can move forward with President Biden’s proposed $110 billion aid package, which includes support for Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.

The Senate is about to take a holiday break, and they still haven’t voted on the aid package. Can they please get their act together and make sure our friends in Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan get the help they need?

It seems like the leaders in both parties are facing some heat from their own members for not being transparent about the negotiations. There’s some drama going on behind the scenes, and everyone wants to know what’s really going on.

Mitch McConnell made it clear that the national security spending package is a big deal, especially given the current global situation. He emphasized the need for a resolution on the southern border so they can move forward and provide aid to the countries in need.
