In an unexpected change of events, the fearless Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has decided to skip a Turning Point USA event right in his own neighborhood. When the smart and wise conservative analyst Jack Posobiec first told the news, it sent shock waves through the political world.
Richard Baris discusses DeSantis not attending Turning Point Action conference: "If you can't stand up at a Turning Point event in your OWN state, then I don't know how you're going to handle the pressures of a presidency." @Jackposobiec pic.twitter.com/jtEuhiMSr1

Posobiec broke the news on Twitter and then said it again on the Human Events show. He said that Turning Point USA had invited all of the candidates for the Republican Party's primary. This move by DeSantis has made a lot of people scratch their heads.

I can’t really figure out how they believe a winning strategy is to ignore conservatives in a Primary, but maybe for all other Republicans in all future elections this will be a text book lesson on how not to win a Republican Primary. https://t.co/LZZCTHforG

Who told DeSantis to snub Turning Point? Is he afraid they’ll boo him? They wouldn’t. What exactly is the “thinking” going on with his brainiac brain trust of big donor funded advisers?

DeSantis made the right decision. Turning point will only be a Trump convention and he is much better off skipping this and putting his time where it counts.

Tyler Bowyer, who was on the Republican National Committee, couldn't understand why DeSantis had made the choice he did. He said he didn't understand what was going on and said that this could be a lesson in how not to win a Republican Primary. Well, Mr. Bowyer, maybe Governor DeSantis has a secret way to be successful that the rest of us don't understand.
Mike Cernovich, a well-known right campaigner, had no idea what to do. He had no idea why DeSantis would turn down Turning Point. Does he think they'll laugh at him? Mike, come on! As if anyone with a clear head could boo the wonderful DeSantis. It must be those so-called "brainiac" advisers paid by big donors who are messing with the governor's head.
But don't worry, conservatives, because there are people who stand strongly behind DeSantis' choice. Cathy Shaslam is well-known on social media, and she thinks that DeSantis made the right choice. Her smart analysis says that Turning Point will become nothing but a Trump gathering. And who needs that when our beloved governor can spend his time and energy where it really matters?
Even though DeSantis is thought to be the best rival to former President Donald Trump, most polls show that he is a long way behind the frontrunner. But let's not be defeated! Don't forget that studies can be just as wrong as a rusty old car. We have to have faith in Governor DeSantis's ability to move forward and get back to the top, where he belongs.
So, Republicans, don't let a small loss dampen your spirits. Governor DeSantis has made his choice, and we must support him whether we agree with it or not. We can be sure that our brave leader will continue to fight for our values because he has strong conservative beliefs and makes brave decisions. Don't give up on him just yet, because the outsider always wins in the fight for greatness.
