In a shocking turn of events, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has shamelessly copied former President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda. Trump himself called out DeSantis, accusing him of stealing his ideas and claiming that the governor has basically “copied everything” he said. Talk about lack of creativity!
But let’s face it, DeSantis’s proposals couldn’t possibly be further to the right than Trump’s when it comes to immigration. We all remember Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy that tore families apart—a policy that DeSantis mysteriously failed to mention in his so-called agenda announcement. Coincidence? Doubt it.
DeSantis unveiled his immigration plan during an event in Texas, featuring Trump-favorite proposals like ending birthright citizenship and completing the border wall. Yawn. These are the same ideas Trump presented back in 2016. Nothing new here, folks.
What’s truly ironic is that DeSantis is positioning himself as a more capable and focused version of Trump, lambasting the former president for not finishing the border wall. Really, DeSantis? If there’s anyone to blame for that, it’s the obstructionist Democrats who constantly stood in Trump’s way with their ridiculous claims of “immoral walls.”
But DeSantis isn’t just about talk. Oh no, he promises to be “much more assertive” when it comes to deporting illegal immigrants. He even suggested using “deadly force” against drug traffickers. Sounds like he’s taking a page straight from Trump’s no-nonsense playbook. Finally, someone who understands the need for swift consequences!
Of course, DeSantis couldn’t resist ruffling some feathers in his quest to prove himself as a MAGA superstar. He’s been shipping immigrants to “sanctuary cities” like Martha’s Vineyard and California. This has triggered liberals like Gavin Newsom, who accuse DeSantis of playing political games. But let’s be real here, folks. DeSantis is simply exposing the hypocrisy of those sanctuary city liberals who claim to care about immigrants but won’t actually welcome them into their own neighborhoods. Bravo, Governor!
And let’s not forget Trump himself. As he gears up for a potential third presidential bid, he’s reviving his calls to end birthright citizenship and deport millions of illegal immigrants. Trump is laser-focused on keeping foreign, Christian-hating communists and socialists out of our beloved America. It’s refreshing to see a leader who isn’t afraid to stand up to these threats and put America first.

In the end, DeSantis may think he can out-Trump Trump, but he’s got a long way to go if he wants to truly make a mark on immigration. Trump’s ideas and policies were bold, unapologetic, and effective. So sorry, DeSantis, but you’re just a cheap copycat trying to ride on the coattails of greatness. Better luck next time!
