President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice is once again flexing its authoritarian muscle by seeking jail time for a conservative journalist who never even set foot inside the Capitol on January 6th. This is just another example of the two-tiered justice system we have in this country, where Trump supporters are treated as criminals while left-wing radicals are given a free pass.
Jonathan Owen Shroyer, a host on Alex Jones’s InfoWars, has been targeted by the Biden administration for his vocal criticism of the 2020 election results. The DOJ is alleging that Shroyer played a significant role in the events leading up to the January 6 protests, despite the fact that he never entered the Capitol. Instead, he was near the top of the building’s steps, leading protestors in chants and speaking out against Democrat “tyranny.”
But apparently, expressing your First Amendment rights and voicing your opposition to the leftist agenda is now a crime in the eyes of Biden’s Justice Department. They claim that Shroyer disseminated election disinformation and used violent rhetoric, even though there is no evidence that he incited any violence or directly participated in any illegal activity.
It’s clear that this is nothing more than political persecution against a conservative journalist who dared to challenge the mainstream narrative. The Biden administration is sending a message to anyone who dares to speak out against their radical agenda: if you criticize the left, they will come after you with the full force of the federal government.
This is a blatant violation of our constitutional rights and a terrifying example of the authoritarianism that is creeping into our society. We cannot allow the Biden administration to silence dissent and trample on our freedom of speech. The American people deserve better than a government that seeks to imprison those who dare to speak out against their tyranny. It’s time to stand up and fight back against this blatant abuse of power.
