The Republican National Committee chose Houston, Texas, to host the event for the 2028 convention. According to Ronna McDaniel, the committee's Charwoman, the choice was a smart one. It shows that the organization is thinking ahead and has learned from the mistakes of past conventions.
Houston is a great city. Governor Greg Abbott and the mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, are basking in the success of the city. The Host Committee and the Houston First Corporation are also working hard to make sure that the convention is an amazing event. The Republican Party is excited to bring its convention to Houston and show the nation just what it's all about.
