Elon Musk has allegedly set his sights on pouring a whopping $45 million each month into a new super PAC that is geared towards supporting the potential presidential bid of former President Donald Trump. Sources in the know have informed the Wall Street Journal about this significant move.
The super PAC, known as America PAC, is already garnering support from high-profile individuals like Joe Lonsdale of Palantir Technologies, the Winklevoss twins, former U.S. ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft, and her spouse Joe Craft, CEO of Alliance Resource Partners, a major coal producer.
America PAC, established in June, is honing in on voter registration efforts and urging constituents to participate in early voting and request mail-in ballots, especially in swing states. The coalition behind the super PAC has taken notice of the Democrats’ historically strong ‘get out the vote’ initiatives and the considerable funding the Biden administration has allocated towards ground efforts in critical states. America PAC aims to counterbalance these efforts.
