SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk, the man who seems to own everything these days, including our hearts, has announced a shocking new development for his social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Brace yourselves, folks, because Elon is slapping a “small monthly payment” on all X users if they want to keep using the platform. Talk about pay to play!
During a livestreamed event with none other than Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Musk spilled the beans about the upcoming fee. Apparently, he’s struggling with advertisers and claims that the site’s revenue has plummeted a whopping 60%. Ouch! But hey, don’t worry, Elon has a solution: charging the users.
