Democrats are getting their dream come true with the release of mugshots featuring former President Donald Trump and his allies. The left is practically drooling over this big catch, eagerly waiting for Trump himself to surrender to the Fulton County Georgia Jail. Thanks to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, a total of 19 defendants, including Giuliani and Trump’s former Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, have been charged with various offenses related to alleged election subversion.
Now, some may find these parade of mugshots amusing, but let’s not forget the gravity of the situation. Democrats are shamelessly hauling Trump and his allies into jail, all while he continues to be the main opponent of President Joe Biden. It’s an unprecedented move that will have significant repercussions for years to come. Yet, the Democrats seem to be oblivious to the fact that the precedent they are setting now might just come back to haunt them in the future.
Of course, Democrats are reveling in this spectacle, taking every opportunity to mock Trump and the other defendants. Rep. Ilhan Omar couldn’t resist sharing the mugshot of Giuliani on her Instagram story, while Al Franken felt the need to chime in as well. It’s disheartening to see how gleefully they are embracing this public shaming campaign against their political opponents.
But not everyone is letting these mugshots get under their skin. Attorney Jenna Ellis, for instance, is taking it all in stride, even using her own mugshot as her profile picture on the X social media platform. And Lara Trump, who is married to Trump’s son Eric, appeared on NewsMax, dismissing the significance of these photos and predicting that they will only strengthen Trump’s support. After all, why would one of the most famous people in the world need a mugshot?

It’s clear that Democrats are grasping at straws in their desperate attempts to embarrass Trump. However, this latest tactic is bound to backfire, just like everything else they’ve tried in the past. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to see these mugshots plastered on posters, t-shirts, and even flags, proudly displayed by Trump supporters who love this country. Tonight’s surrender promises to be quite the spectacle, and who knows what other surprises await us in the future. Stay tuned.
