A federal judge in Texas has just slammed the brakes on a discriminatory program run by the U.S. Commerce Department that was supposed to “help” minority business owners, but conveniently left out any white folks. U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman, a voice of reason in a sea of liberal lunacy, rightfully put an end to this unfair practice that was pushing hardworking Americans to the back of the line based solely on the color of their skin.
The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) thought it could get away with handing out grants and support only to non-white business owners. But Judge Pittman wasn’t having any of that nonsense. He saw right through their scheme to play favorites based on race and called them out for violating the constitutional rights of every American, regardless of their ethnicity.
It’s about time someone stood up to the left’s blatant discrimination under the guise of “equality.” The MBDA’s flawed logic that only certain races are deemed “disadvantaged” is not only offensive but downright un-American. Thankfully, Judge Pittman put his foot down and declared that such racial preferences have no place in our society.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty deserves a round of applause for taking on this fight on behalf of three entrepreneurs who were unfairly denied assistance by the MBDA just because they happen to be white. These entrepreneurs, from diverse backgrounds including a veteran, a disabled immigrant, and a self-made architect, embody the American spirit of perseverance and grit. They should never have been denied a fair shot at success just because of their race.
As we move forward, it’s clear that the MBDA will have to rethink its discriminatory policies. While they can no longer exclude people based on race, it remains to be seen if they will continue to receive funding from the liberal elites who have no qualms about trampling on the rights of hardworking Americans. Let’s hope that justice prevails and that equality under the law triumphs over the left’s hypocritical agenda.
