The FDNY drama unfolded like a soap opera crossed with a bad stand-up comedy routine, as New York Attorney General Letitia James got a rude awakening when she faced the boos and chants of “Trump! Trump!” at an awards event. The firefighters, bless their patriotic hearts, weren’t having any of James’ anti-Trump antics. It was a beautiful sight – the mighty firefighters standing up for what they believe in, much to the chagrin of the FDNY top brass.
Now, here comes Chief of Department John Hodgens, trying to play tough guy by threatening to hunt down those brave firefighters who dared to speak their minds. But, lo and behold, when push came to shove, it turned out it was all smoke and mirrors. The FDNY leadership quickly backtracked, claiming there was never an investigation in the first place. Talk about a comedy of errors!
This episode probably epitomizes dumb leadership. Wouldn't surprise me he's gone before the end of the year.
FDNY Chief Says Investigation of Letitia James Booing Incident Was Just a Big Misunderstanding https://t.co/srQcybo3bQ

The funny thing is, instead of owning up to their mistake, Chief Hodgens tried to spin it like a pro politician, saying the word “hunt” was just a poor choice of words. Yeah, right! We see right through your flimsy excuses, Chief. The real agenda here was clear – to suppress any dissent and quash the voices of those who dared to challenge the leftist status quo.
But fear not, brave firefighters, for the FDNY may have blinked this time, but the fight is far from over. President of FDNY Uniformed Firefighters Association Andrew Ansbro stood up for his members, rightly pointing out that heckling at ceremonies is nothing new. He made it clear that disciplinary action was off the table, and rightfully so. Hats off to Ansbro for defending the honor of the firefighters against the overreaching arm of the FDNY leadership.
And let’s not forget the cherry on top – Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanaugh getting a taste of her own medicine with jeers of “You suck!” at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Talk about sweet poetic justice! The tables have turned, and it’s clear that the firefighters won’t back down in the face of political intimidation.
In the end, this whole fiasco just goes to show that when push comes to shove, conservatives will always stand up for what they believe in, no matter how hard the left tries to silence them. So, hats off to the brave firefighters who showed the FDNY leadership that they won’t be bullied into submission. Let this be a lesson to all those who dare to trample on the rights of patriotic Americans – we will not be silenced!
