Former Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard dropped a political bombshell when she suggested that Hillary Clinton, not President Joe Biden, is the one calling the shots in the United States. Gabbard, a former Democratic presidential candidate, spilled the beans in a recent interview, claiming that both Clinton and former President Barack Obama still have a tight grip on the reins of U.S. politics. In an interview with conservative host Tucker Carlson, Gabbard shocked viewers by insinuating that the Biden administration is just a puppet for the Clinton and Obama agendas.

Gabbard, who recently bid adieu to the Democratic Party, cited her frustration with the party’s protection of the “powerful elite” as her reason for leaving. She explained that her efforts to steer the party back to its roots as a party of the people had failed, and now she’s out in the cold. Notably, Gabbard faced fierce backlash within her own party when she threw her support behind Bernie Sanders over Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary. Her bold endorsement of Sanders led to the drafting of her political obituaries by some Democrat colleagues and threats that her district would be left high and dry.
Rumors have been swirling that Gabbard may be considered for the vice presidential spot on former President Donald Trump’s shortlist. While Gabbard has remained politically homeless since her departure from the Democratic Party, she has been an outspoken critic of the party and has even taken her message to the Conservative Political Action Conference. As for the other potential candidates for Trump’s VP pick, the lineup includes Reps. Byron Donalds and Elise Stefanik, as well as Governors Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem.
In an interesting twist, Carlson, the interviewer who teased out Gabbard’s explosive comments, has also been rumored to be on Trump’s shortlist for vice president. While Carlson denied any interest in the role, he made it clear that he had doubts about his effectiveness in the position. The political drama thickens as Gabbard’s bold assertions and Trump’s potential VP picks keep the rumor mill churning.
